On 1^st October 2009 the amendment of the Energy Savings Regulation (EnEV) came into effect in Germany. It states that a certain energy demand value must not be exceeded in new buildings. In the case of existing buildings energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions must be significantly reduced. Thanks to their excellent insulating properties, VEKA's profiles systems will help to comply with the EnEV conditions.
